Welcome to Clerkenwell - a photo guide to London EC1
Clerkenwell has a long and and rich history, none of which I will go into here, but by all means let me Google it for you. Once a thriving industrial district of London and now a trendy hangout for hipsters and graphic designers.
Clerkenwell is also home to Exmouth Market, awarded best street in the country, that's right think of any street you know, not just in London, but the whole country and Exmouth Market is officially better.
I took this set of photographs as a the-best-camera-is-the-one-you-have-with-you project, however, I didn't take these pictures on Steve Job's wonder device (I'll leave that to the Clerkenwell hipsters), instead I spent the last few months taking my Canon S95 out with me every day and these pictures are the result.
More on my website here: http://www.adamleachphotography.com/clerkenwell and I'll probably be adding a few more to the collection over the next few months.
