In April this year I decided to give Instagram a go, just for a laugh you know, and since then I've been hooked. I guess I was more than a little skeptical about the The Best Camera is the One That's With You™ hype and not entirely convinced that an app on your phone could do much to improve the rubbish output from most camera phones. That said I'm constantly surprised, what a square crop, and a retro filter can do for a photo. 

The thing I like the most about Instagram; is that it encourages you to take pictures often and therefore challenges you to find picture taking opportunities even in the most mundane and everyday context.
